Can I change my professional domicile?
Yes. You can change your professional domicile via your profile. Bear in mind that rates may be different in your new professional domicile.
Can I have more than one professional domicile?
No. It is not possible to have more than one professional domicile at a time.
What does the A,B,C language classification system mean ?
You can find information about the classification of working languages on the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) website: http://aiic.net/page/4004/working-languages
Is it possible to add additional languages to my profile?
Yes, you can update your working languages via your profile.
Who can see my Profile?
Your profile can be seen either only by recruiters or by both recruiters and selected interpreters registered on InterlinkPro. Consult the confidentiality settings to find the best option for you. Please note that regardless of the option you choose the details of your assignment will only be visible to you.
Can I delete my Interlink Pro account?
You may delete your Interlink Pro account at any time by sending a request to email@example.com. Your request will be processed in a maximum of 72 hours. Please note that once your account has been deleted you will need to create a new account in order to use interlink Pro services.
How can I respond to an offer or an option?
Nothing could be easier! You will receive an email notification (and one via SMS if you choose this option) with the details of the offer. Then you just have to click on the link in the email to either accept or refuse the offer. If you do accept, your calendar and availability will be automatically updated, and your employer will be made aware of your response in real time.
What is the difference between an option and a firm offer?
An option is an offer that is awaiting confirmation. If you wish to accept another offer in the interim you should first of all contact the person who gave you the option. This person should either confirm the option or release you from it.
A firm offer is a confirmed offer of work. When you accept a firm offer you have an obligation to the recruiter. A firm offer is generally followed by a contract.
What is the difference between a visible and an invisible option?
When you accept an option, you can make it visible or invisible:
If you choose to make it visible it will feature on your calendar and be visible to recruiters.
If you go for the invisible option only you will be able to see it on your calendar. You will appear to be available on the search lists for recruiters.
What happens to my personal data once I become an InterlinkPro member?
Your personal data will be safely stored on our servers and it will be erased if you decide to delete your account.
Can InterlinkPro recommend interpreters to recruiters?
InterlinkPro is a platform that facilitates the communication between interpreters and recruiters. Under no circumstances can InterlinkPro recommend interpreters to recruiters. It is up to the interpreters themselves to make themselves known to recruiters.
Can I access InterlinkPro on my phone or tablet?
You can access InterlinkPro on your phone, your tablet or your computer.
As an interpreter, can I access other interpreters’ profiles in order to recruit them?
When you are signed up as an interpreter you can access the profile and availability of other interpreters once they have chosen the confidentiality option that allows for this to be visible to other interpreters. You can also recruit them through InterlinkPro.
Is InterlinkPro a secure service?
Reliability is a key issue for InterlinkPro. We use SSL encrypted browsing and our servers are some of the most secure on the market. Moreover, our hypertext transfer protocols guarantee the confidentiality and security of information submitted by the user (especially through the online forms) and received by the server. To decrease any risk we would encourage you to change your password regularly, and to make it reasonably complex for added security.
What can I do if I encounter a technical problem?
We do everything possible to ensure that this does not happen. However if events beyond our control cause a temporary problem to arise please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and our Webmaster team will be immediately alerted to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
